About RadVis InstallationCurrent version: DESIRE RadVis 1.3b2 (1 December 2005) If your computer meets the necessary system requirements for DESIRE RadVis, then you can install this version of the DESIRE RadVis on your system. Note that everything you need is bundled in the installer if you are using Microsoft Windows or Linux x86. For other platforms you should ensure that you have at least Java 1.4.2 and Java 3D 1.3.1 installed prior to installation. Note that if you download the Linux x86 installer without Java bundled then Java 3D 1.3.2 is bundled in the installer. The example radiation data provided in the installer is not real data and is provided for illustrative purposes only. In future, we intend to provide examples of real data create by the DESIRE project. You will probably find it useful to consult the Frequently Asked Questions and Hint and Tips documents in the Support area. |
